Upgrading your equipment in Guild of Chains can significantly enhance your heroes' performance and abilities. However, the upgrading process carries a risk-reward mechanism. In this section, we'll explain the steps to upgrade your equipment and the necessary approval process.

Disclaimer: Before attempting to upgrade your equipment, be aware that you need to approve the game's smart contract to handle your Equipment NFTs. The approval process is essential to allow the smart contract to manage your NFTs and burn them if the upgrade attempt fails. Please read the "Approving Equipment for Equipping and Upgrading" section for more information on the approval process.

1. Navigate to Refinery on the Aetherforge Isle

1. Scroll Down to Equipment List to select Equipment

1. Once you select equipment related upgrade scroll will be visible list You can obtain upgrade scrolls from encounters please check How to Send Hero to Encounter section

1. You can increase your upgrade chance with Premium Upgrade Scrolls up to 200% (25% for each PUS) and click UPGRADE! Button
